Governor Parson delays Missouri municipal elections

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Missouri Gov. Mike Parson signed an executive order delaying all municipal elections in the Show-Me State. The elections, originally scheduled for April 7, have been postponed until June 2.

The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot will now be May 20. Despite the delay, the closing date to register for the election remains March 11, which has already passed.

Military and overseas voters must request a ballot by the end of the work day on May 29. Those ballots must be received by June 5
